Jim White
1955 - 2020
Thomas James White, beloved husband of Janice White, passed away, surrounded by his family in Taber on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 64 years.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. A private committal service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Jim is survived by Janice, his loving wife of forty five years and their children James White of Edmonton, Heather (Chris) Smith of Taber, Robert (Natalie) White of Taber and Kristyn (Kyle) Marchuk of Coaldale; ten grandchildren Chelsea, Ashley, Kaya, T.J., Tyler, Braiden, Amy, Abigail, Brooke and Chase. He is also survived by his sisters Mae Foran, Dorothy (Mario) Bebenedictis, Edie Rodway and Eileen Caron; brother-in-law Roger Rombough and by numerous nieces and nephews. Jim’s family was his pride and joy.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Lily White; sisters Margaret White-Ferrel and Barbara Rombough; brother George White; brothers-in-law Gord Ferrel, James Foran, Bert Rodway and Leo Caron.
Jim was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 19, 1955. He married Janice Patrick on January 26, 1974 and they relocated to Taber in 1982 where Jim worked as a plumber for Seiko’s Plumbing until he started White’s Plumbing in 1992, a legacy that is being fulfilled by his son Robert.
Jim had a heart of gold and a sense of humour that was one of a kind. His business and his customers meant the world to him and he treated all of them like family.
