ERIC HAMMERGREN

1930 - 2008

Eric Hammergren passed away in Taber on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the age of 78 years.
He is survived by his brother Roy Hammergren of Taber and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents George and Hilder Hammergren; brother Stanley; sisters Dorothy, Vera and her husband Mel, Pearl and her husband Joe; sister-in-law Thelma.
Eric was born in Calgary on January 7, 1930. He was raised in Scandia and received his schooling there. Eric farmed in Hays for a number of years. He later drove truck, hauling gravel until his retirement. Eric was an avid swimmer and also loved to dance. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. A private family burial will be held at the Scandia Cemetery.
