1959 - 2019

Victoria Elizabeth Gardner (nee Williams), beloved wife of Ray Gardner, passed away in Calgary on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the age of 60 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, October 28, 2019 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.

The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Besides her beloved husband Ray, Vicki is survived by their children James (Tiana) Gardner of Taber and their children Ben, Asher and Jett; Jessie (Edwyn) Ellingson of Taber and their children Christian, Liam, Bergen and Westin; Braden (Siobhan) Gardner of Taber and their children Zuri, Phoebe and Marley; Jeff (Kelsey) Gardner of Lethbridge and their children Luke, Eden and Jemma. She is also survived by numerous other beloved family members.

She was predeceased by her parents Vernon and Doris Williams.

Vicki was born on March 23, 1959 in Brampton, Ontario. She moved to Lethbridge at the age of sixteen. Vicki met Ray at a church function in the winter of 1978 and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Cardston Alberta Temple on July 13, 1978.

Vicki started working at Saunders Insurance in September of 1989. She met many life long friends there. Some of the things that brought Vicki joy were travelling, musicals, board games, family history and making quilts for loved ones, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
