MARK GRAY

1962 - 2004

Mark Harold Steven Gray, beloved husband of Tammy Gray of Taber, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at the age of 41 years.  
Mark was born and raised in Timmins, Ontario until moving to Cochrane, Ontario in 1974. He resided there until moving to Alberta where he met his beloved wife Tammy. They were married in Taber, Alberta in August of 1996. They resided in Cochrane until they moved back to Taber in 2001 and raised their two children Byron and Crista. At the time of his passing Mark owned and operated Mark's renovations. He was a very kindhearted man who was always there to lend a hand and help others. Mark loved the outdoors and enjoyed the activities associated with it. As a family they enjoyed camping, skidooing, fishing, quading or anything that brought them together. His family and friends were all dear to Mark and they have been left with the remembrance of a man with great dignity and perseverance who lived his life the way he wanted to. He lived life to the fullest and left this earth with a lot of fond memories for his friends and family. Very special to Mark was his dog Freddy.  
Besides his beloved wife Tammy, he is survived by his mother Abby Gray of Ontario; children Crista (Spencer) and  Byron of Taber, Mark Jr., Samantha and Johnny of Ontario; brother Glen (Karen) Gray and their children Lori, Nicki and Kathy of Ontario;  two sisters Deb (Bill) Pearce and daughter Sherry (Shawn) of Taber and Brenda (Mike) Laham and children Jason, Mike and Brian of Ontario; mother-in-law Anne Blacquier; father-in-law Ted Blacquier (Bonnie); sister-in-law Lisa Blacquier-Rempel (Kelly) and her daughter Codie; brothers-in-law Andy (Jodi) Blacquier and children Tyson, Taylor and Bailey and Terry Blacquier (Rhonda) and his children Shaylynn and Brendan and also by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark was predeceased by his father Desmond Gray and a brother John Gray.  
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel (5006-48 Ave.) Taber on Friday, April 16, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.   
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church (4929-50 Ave.) Taber on Saturday, April 17 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
