ESTHER GUMINY

1926 - 2005

It is with great sadness the family of Esther Guminy (Weiss) announce her passing at the Taber Hospital on Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at the age of 78 years.  
Esther leaves to mourn her passing, her eight children David (Edith) Guminy and their children Brandon, Steven and Scott; Doreen (Terry) Schaufert and their daughter Laurie and her children Braidon and Taylor and their son Kevin (Rosie); Stephanie (Dennis) Kemick and their children Michael (Olga) and their son Kaje, Valli (Doug) Ware and their children Taliah and Brennen  and Cody Kemick; Bruce and his son Jason; Ken (Agnes) Guminy and their children Travis, Jennifer and Jonathan; Carol Guminy; Warren and his children Erinn and Kyle; John and his sons Bradly and Jamie (Willow) and their children Julius and James. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother Lenard Weiss, her sisters Ella Aikten and Norma Genert, a close family friend, Doug Smith and by all of Alex's family.  
Esther was predeceased by her husband Alex Guminy on April 14, 2000; her parents Rudolph and Annetta Weiss; two sisters Lydia Gerein and Helen Bliss; son-in-law Bud Binning on May 01, 2003; twin granddaughters Sonya and Tanya Guminy and twin great granddaughters Jayme and Jordan Schaufert.  
Esther enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was lovingly known as Grandma, Nana and Noonie to them. Esther will be greatly missed.  
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006-48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, January 6, 2005 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.  
The Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 4418-52 Street, Taber on Friday, January 7, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Jeffery Frostad officiating. Interment to follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
