She will also be remembered by her niece Penny (Allan) Finnamore, who she considered a sister and numerous nieces and nephews from all over that thought the most of her as well.

She was predeceased by her parents Edison and Hilda Whalen, sister Jackie Donovan, brother Terrance Whalen at childbirth and a great granddaughter, Aubrey Nicole.

Family meant everything to Anne. When she wasn’t travelling down to see her family in New Brunswick, she would be hanging out with her kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Anne also had a love for Bingo, garage sales, country music and baking. Anne will be remembered for her smile and didn’t expect much from anyone. It didn’t take much to make her happy. She loved without regret and will be greatly missed by all.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Anne’s name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4K7 www.heartandstroke.ca.

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the staff St. Michael’s Health Centre in Lethbridge who treated her like family and took such good care of her. The family really appreciated it and it was never over looked.
