Helen Conner
1925 - 2019
Helen Mamie Conner, formerly of Vauxhall, passed away in Taber on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at the age of 93 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, March 25, 2019 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M
The service was held at the Bethel Evangelical Free Church, 504 - 3 Avenue, Vauxhall on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Vauxhall Cemetery.
Helen is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their families, her church family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Mae; brothers Robert and John; sisters Virginia, Jean and Claire.
Helen was born on September 28, 1925 in Chester, Washington. She was raised in the Vauxhall area. Helen was one of six children born to Howard and Mae Conner. She enjoyed music, played several instruments in church, and loved spending time with family and friends. Helen worked at Long's Super Market in Vauxhall for forty five years, and was known for her dedication and friendly personality. She was an active, faithful member of the Evangelical Free Church in Vauxhall.
