TONY GEJDOS

1923 - 2006

Mr. Tomas "Tony" Gejdos, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Matilda Gejdos, passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, February 20, 2006 at the age of 82 years.
Tomas was born on December 20, 1923 in Velka Lubela, Czechoslovakia. He moved from Skiff to Barnwell  and  married Matilda Hubek on March 29, 1948. They established the 'family farm' in the Barnwell area.
He is survived by his two children; a son Ron (Wendy) Gejdos of Barnwell and their three children Larry (Jackie) and daughters Kaitlin and MiKayla of Lethbridge; Jeannie (Gary) of Taber and Robert of Lethbridge; a daughter Linda (Brian) Windrum of Brooks and their two children Jessica (Chris) and their daughter Hannah and Matthew; a brother Bill (Elnore) Gejdos of Lethbridge; a sister Mary (Garth) Peterson of Spring Coulee; sister-in-law Claire Hubek of Monarch and also by numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Matilda; his parents Andrew and Zofia Gejdos, a sister Helen and brother-in-law Carl Hubek.
A Private Family Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Taber on Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 10:30A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant.  Interment followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
