He was predeceased by his parents Antone and Marguerite Tessier; siblings Norman and Emile (Bella) Tessier; brother-in-law Floyd Bratvold; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Marion Confrey.

Dave was born in Shaunavon, Saskatchewan on December 28, 1944. He attended school in Scotsguard, Saskatchewan in his younger years and later Shaunavon High School where he graduated. He married Colleen Confrey on April 7, 1966 in Simmie, Saskatchewan. Their married life began together as a couple in Instow, Saskatchewan. From there, they moved to a farm close to Scotsguard and later purchased the family farm. After farming for some years, driving school bus and working for the MD of Bone Creek, they moved to the town of Shaunavon. This was when Dave started his long term career working for his love of John Deere. He started as a partsman and progressed to parts manager during his career. He was extremely dedicated and loyal and to this day, could probably rattle off any parts number you needed. Dave loved his family, job, playing pool, fishing and was an avid gardener as well as loved the sport of curling (both watching and participating). The love of his life were his grandchildren and he could never get enough time with them.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Dave’s name may be made directly to the Canadian Cancer Society, 200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2P5 www.cancer.ca or to a charity of one’s personal choice.
