CLARENCE GOW
1918 - 2007
Clarence Gow of Vauxhall, passed away in Taber on Friday, June 8, 2007 at the age of 88 years.
Clarence is survived by his sister Eva Wallace of Surrey, British Columbia, sister-in-law Violet Gow of Taber and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Mary Gow; brothers Cecil, Gordon, Frank and Harold; sister Pearl Penna; step-brother Loftus Roach; brothers-in-law Tom Penna and Bob Wallace and sister-in-law Sadie Roach.
Clarence was born on August 18, 1918 at Hazenmore, Saskatchewan. Clarence resided at Retlaw and Grantham where he spent time farming. Clarence spent a few years cooking for work crews including a year for a gravel crusher crew at the Frank Slide in the Crowsnest Pass. Eventually, Clarence came to Vauxhall and worked for the PFRA irrigating pastures and later working as a farm hand until his retirement.
A Burial Service will be held at the Vauxhall Cemetery, Vauxhall on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Alana Johnson officiating.
