JOHN GIESBRECHT

1981 - 2009

John Giesbrecht of Rolling Hills, born May 10, 1981 in London, Ontario, passed away in a canoeing accident on Lake Newell on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the age of 28 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Aron and Mary Giesbrecht of Rolling Hills; brothers Jake of Grande Prairie, Cornelius (Susie) of Grande Prairie and Aron (Gredel) of Vauxhall; sister Anna of Rolling Hills; grandmother Anna Giesbrecht of Mexico and by his niece Olivia.
He was predeceased by three grandparents, one uncle, two aunts and two cousins.
John worked at Panda Tank Services in Grande Prairie until his recent move to Rolling Hills. There he worked for his father as a welder at Oasis Trailer Manufacturing.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Community Hall, 417 - 4 Street North, Vauxhall on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop John Hiebert officiating. Burial to follow at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery.
