Harold Andrus

1944 - 2018

Harold George Andrus passed away in Taber on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 73 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, January 27, 2018 between 1:00 P.M. and 2:00 P.M.

Harold is survived by his son Randy Andrus of Coalhurst and daughter Darcie Andrus of Coutts. He was blessed with seven grandchildren Tiffany (Clint), Blake, Dillon (Christan), Matthew (Lacey), Brad, Zachary, Alex and four great grandchildren Caley, Coleson, Cannon and Jacob.

He was predeceased by his children Billy Jo on April 14, 1965 and Kevin on January 2, 2016.

Of Irish decent, Harold was born in Lomond on April 5, 1944. He was the youngest of eleven children, six boys and five girls. Harold farmed in different areas of Alberta during his life. He also worked in trucking and pipelining. Harold loved the outdoors, summertime, rodeos and horses. He loved his boys, loved to watch them grow through their youth and become fine young men, following in his footsteps.
