PETER GIESBRECHT

1994 - 2009

Peter Giesbrecht of Rolling Hills, born February 2, 1994 in St. Thomas, Ontario, passed away in a canoeing accident on Lake Newell on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at the age of 15 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Aron and Mary Giesbrecht of Rolling Hills; brothers Jake of Grande Prairie, Cornelius (Susie) of Grande Prairie and Aron (Gredel) of Vauxhall; sister Anna of Rolling Hills; grandmother Anna Giesbrecht of Mexico and by his niece Olivia.
He was predeceased by three grandparents, one uncle, two aunts and two cousins.
Peter attended the Two Hills School until age twelve. He completed grades seven to nine at the Tilley Mennonite School where he will be remembered and greatly missed by his teachers and classmates.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, June 8, 2009 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Community Hall, 417 - 4 Street North, Vauxhall on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop John Hiebert officiating. Burial to follow at the Vauxhall Mennonite Cemetery.
