Dennis Carlson

1956 - 2017

Dennis Michael Carlson, passed away unexpectedly in Lethbridge on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the age of 61 years.

A private service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Dennis is survived by his daughter Stacey Carlson; grandson Jackzon Clark; father Harry Carlson of Taber; brothers Dexter Buckley of Taber, Don (Cindy) Carlson of Taber, Tim (Susan) Carlson of Taber and Casey (Donna) Carlson of Lethbridge; sisters Twila (John) Wiebe of Creston, British Columbia and Bonnie Carlson of Taber.

He was predeceased by his mother Helen Carlson and brother Lyle Buckley. Dennis was born in Taber on November 12, 1956 and spent the first ten years of his life in Travers. In 1967, the family moved to Taber, where he spent the majority of his life. He was involved in the commercial fishing business with his father and brothers. He loved his daughter and grandson. Dennis was a world traveller, making trips to the Phillipines and was proud of his Viking heritage. He will be missed.
