Lois Phillips
1939 - 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lois Phillips, beloved wife of the late Bob Phillips on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the age of 78 years.
A private burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Thursday, November 23, 2017.
Family was very important to Lois. She is survived by her sons Scott (Lonnie) Christensen of Taber and their daughters Jodi (Cody) Rowley (their son Wyatt) and Kori (Bryce) Duff; Colin (Tiffany) Phillips of Taber and their children Kade and Keira; daughter Susan Phillips of Coaldale and her daughter Shanda (Travis) Westerhoud (their son Connor); Lois's Grandpup Judge. She is also survived by her step children Greg Phillips of Summerland, British Columbia and Lori Phillips of Nanaimo, British Columbia and their families; step sister Marie (Leo) Hill; brothers-in-law Ken Rombough, Earl Herbert, Harley (Kathleen) Phillips and Bud (Kay) Phillips; sister-in-law Eileen Berg as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents William and Viola Campbell; brother Bill Campbell; sisters Arlene Rombough and Mona Orlando; step siblings Melvin Nelson, Glen Nelson, Grant Nelson and Louella Powelson; in-laws William and Clara Phillips; Eva And Bob Comm and Ethel Mae “Flip” Herbert.
Lois was born in Edmonton to Viola and William Campbell on October 20, 1939. She started working in grocery and retail at the age of eighteen and continued to do so until she retired due to health concerns. She will be remembered by her love of music and her fondness of puzzles and reading.
