1974 - 2016

Michael Donald Powell, passed away in Lethbridge on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 42 years.

A private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel on Friday, November 25, 2016. A private burial service followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Michael is survived by his daughter Jenna Powell and his parents Donald and Viola Powell all of Lethbridge. He will be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents George and Margaret Powell and Peter and Margaret Braun.

Michael was born in Lethbridge on March 21, 1974. He was a wonderful dad and a great son.

For several months, Michael endured enormous pain and agonizing symptoms that went undiagnosed. Conflicting medications created more problems than cures.

Michael fought a tough battle. He lost and we lost.

In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Michael’s name may be made directly to a charity of their choice.
