ROB FORSYTH
1962 - 2006
Robbie Earl "Rob" Forsyth, beloved husband of Donna Forsyth of Vauxhall, passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the age of 43 years.
Rob was born in Kindersley, Saskatchewan on April 9, 1962. When he was four, he moved with his family from Saskatchewan to Alberta, living throughout Southern Alberta until settling in Vauxhall in 1982. Rob was passionate about vehicles, owning many over the years. He was self employed as a truck driver for twenty years, operating as Rob Forsyth Trucking. Rob married Donna on August 19, 1981 in Taber. They enjoyed camping, quadding, boating and skiddooing with family and friends. He worked very hard to keep his children active in sports and special activities, helping them through school and ensuring their vehicles continued to run. During the past few years, Rob enjoyed spending time relaxing out at Koocanusa Resort where he and Donna had their fifth wheel. He never had any trouble making friends. He could always find someone to have a coffee with. Rob loved a good joke and loved to tease. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
Besides his loving wife Donna, Rob is survived by his daughter Brenda Forsyth, his son Dwight Forsyth and his daughter Kimberlee Forsyth. He is also survived by his sisters Linda (Darwin) Dagg, Sandy Manning, Laura (Richard) Parker, Polly (Stan) Hollingsworth; his mother-in-law Leona Wright, his brothers-in-law Darryl Wright and Darren Wright, his sister-in-law Diane Tilma and by his uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and by several pets.
He was predeceased by his parents Emerald and Irene Forsyth, his nephew Carl Manning, his father-in-law Garald Wright and by his brother-in-law Pier Tilma.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, March 2, 2006 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
