Kim Mykytiw

1963 - 2016

It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Brian Kimball Mykytiw in Lethbridge on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the age of 53 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber, Alberta on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

A private burial service was held at the Barnwell Cemetery on Wednesday, November 9, 2016.

Kim is survived by his daughters Pamela Walser and McKenzie Walser both of Lethbridge; mother Aggie Mykytiw; step father Dean (Jolayne) Mykytiw; brothers Scott Mykytiw, Brandon (Sandra) Bullock, Murray (Chris) Mykytiw and sister Lisa Mykytiw (Andy Skelton). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Kristen (Blake) Crawford, Rochelle Bullock (Kade Scott), Zach Bullock, Chase Mykytiw, Alica Whalen-Mykytiw, Mitch Mykytiw and Jordyn Mykytiw.

He was predeceased by his father Bob Bullock in 1965.

Kim was born January 9, 1963 in Taber to Aggie and Bob Bullock. He grew up in the Barnwell area with his three brothers and sister, later moving to Lethbridge. While living in Lethbridge, Kim’s daughters Pamela and McKenzie were born. They were the light of his life and he was very proud of his daughters. Whether it was watching a hockey game together, trucking with McKenzie or sharing his favorite song “I want to know what love is” with Pamela, any time spent with “his girls” was precious to him.

Kim was very close to his mother and best friend Aggie Mykytiw. Their many visits saw a lot of coffee drank and many stories told. An incredible hole has been left in our family, which can never be filled. Rest in peace Kim.
