Judi McCulloch
1940 - 2016
Judith Ann McCulloch, passed away in Taber on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the age of 75 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.
Judi is survived by her sons Dugan (Tammy) Broadfoot and their son Bronsyn of Sherwood Park, Ryan Broadfoot of Calgary and by their father Doug Broadfoot of Taber; sisters Mary MacCulloch and Margaret MacCulloch, brother John David "JD" MacCulloch all of Halifax, Nova Scotia; brother-in-law Jack Macalony of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She is also survived by her nieces Nicole (Jason) Harvey of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, Rebecca MacCulloch (her son Ocean) of Whitehorse, Yukon and Kate MacCulloch of Victoria, British Columbia.
She was predeceased by her parents Wallace and Lois MacCulloch and her sister Patricia Macalony.
Judi graduated from Trinity School of Theology in Toronto in the 70s and moved west to Taber. She began her career as a diaconal minister with the United Church of Canada which spanned twenty years. After retiring, she spent her time living in both Nova Scotia and Alberta.
Judi loved her life and her family. You could often hear her talking about her boys and her grandson Bronsyn. She also enjoyed having coffee with the “crew” at A&W. Judi was such a caring and loving person to everyone she met. Both the Catholic and United churches were a big part of her life and she was always spreading the love of God.
