Henk Vloo

1930 - 2015

 “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”    John 11:25-26

 The Lord took unto himself, Hendrik Vloo, beloved husband of the late Dina Vloo, on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the age of 85 years.

 Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

 The Burial Service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.

 The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 2:00 P.M.  

 Henk is survived by his seven children Henry (Dorinda) Vloo of Jordan, Minnesota, Bernie (Jane) Vloo of Barnwell, Grace (Terry) Sauchuk of Turin, Linda Vloo (Ralph Shiels) of Lethbridge, Arlene (Henry) Ekkel of Iron Springs, Sylvia (Terry) Olfert of Hays and Karen Vloo of Taber. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren and his brother Albert Vloo in Holland.

 He was predeceased by his wife Dina, daughter Helen, parents Hendrik and Grietje Vloo; father and mother-in-law Berend and Roelfina Huizing, four siblings as well as numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
