Alice was born January 1, 1954 in Camrose. She was the fourth child born to Hank and Anne Heetebrij. She grew up in the Edmonton area. John and Alice met eachother at a young age and were married February 25, 1977. They enjoyed the life they had together. The farm and children were a source of great shared joy. She loved to share her many talents, especially the culinary kind. Alice was always a gracious host when entertaining. She also loved to bring joy to those who had special reasons to celebrate. She could make people glad with her poetry, songs, skits and other forms of amusement from her creative mind. She also had the ability to put her creative talents onto paper in the form of paintings and sketches. These were enjoyed by those who received them and viewed them. Alice was always willing to help others and willingly applied herself to any task she was challenged with.

Alice lived the life of faith that sustained her and her family and friends to the end of her life.
