Cornelia Bos, of Taber, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the age of 92 years, to be at peace with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, June 5, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.

The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Cornelia is survived by her children Ann (Pete) Van Beers of Taber, Jane (Casey) Bydevaate of Taber, Toni (Pete) Rozendaal of Barnwell, Peter (Connie) Bos of Goderich, Ontario, Alice (Henry) Nyman of Wellington, Ontario, Helene (John) Moore of Goderich, Ontario, Arjan (Lora) Bos of Forest, Ontario and Caroline (Rod) Berg of Barrie, Ontario; daughter-in-law Margie (Doug), forty grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren as well as two sisters in Ontario and one sister in Holland.

She was predeceased by her husband Pieter, son Cor, grandsons Samuel Bos and Joel Bydevaate and nine brothers and sisters.

Cornelia was born on August 15, 1922 in Moordrecht, The Netherlands. She married Pieter on June 13, 1947. In 1967 they immigrated to Canada with their nine children. Cornelia was a devoted mother to her nine children and dedicated her life to raising them in a Godly way. After immigrating to Canada, with her family, Pieter and Cornelia settled in Ontario to begin farming. In 1981 they headed west to retire, settling in Barnwell. She has always had an active interest in the lives of her grandchildren, and delighted spending time with her great grandchildren. In her later years she learned how to use a computer and loved to watch Dutch programs and listen to sermons online.
