RACHEL BIGELOW

1931 - 2015

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Rachel (Rial) Bigelow in Medicine Hat on Friday, January 30, 2015 at the age of 83 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5314 - 54 Street, Taber on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Rachel is survived by her children Judy (Jim) Sweeney of Redcliff, Brenda (Nick) Kutanzi of Taber, Audie (Cindy) Bigelow of Sandy Beach and Shane (Rhonda) Bigelow of Redcliff; grandchildren Jason (Sonya) Sweeney, Deanna Sweeney, Shila (Scott) Sowell, Trisha (Shand) Watson, Daniel (Kaydee) Bigelow, Scott Bigelow and Chelsey Bigelow as well as seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Gene Myers and Esther (Len) Lazzari; sisters-in-law June Larsen, Audrey Bigelow, Irene Genert, Margaret Genert, Norma Genert and Lolly Genert; brother-in-law Albert Bigelow as well as many nieces and nephews that she held close to her heart.
Rachel was predeceased by her loving husband Cyril Bigelow; son Barry Bigelow; parents Christoff and Margaret Genert; father and mother-in-law Murrell and Daisy Bigelow as well as numerous brother, sisters and in-laws.
