DOROTHY BAEL

1951 - 2014

Dorothy Bael, beloved wife of Cyriel Bael, passed away in Taber on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the age of 63 years after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Relatives and friends were invited to Prayers at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 5:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Vincent TuanHa, Celebrant. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides her husband Cyriel, Dorothy is survived by their son Victor (Shannon) Bael of Taber and their family Zackery and Georgia. She is also survived by her brother Ted (Val) Malinsky and their family; aunts and uncles Edna (Frank) Martens, Marion (Mike) Sekura, Cynthia (Mel) McCullough, Elaine (George) Malinsky, Mary (Nick) Malinsky and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her youngest son Jeremy Bael in 2008 and parents William “Bill” and Gladys “Bunty” Malinsky.
Dorothy was a very giving and loving woman. She was always willing to help her friends and family when needed. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and relatives and friends. She enjoyed camping, ice fishing and mud bogging. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
