LAURA HOEKSEMA

1929 - 2014

Luitgerdina “Laura” Johanna Hoeksema, beloved wife of the late Hedde Hoeksema, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the age of 84 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, October 26, 2014 between 2:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Brian Kuyper officiating. Burial to take place at the Fairview Cemetery, Acton, Ontario.
Laura is survived by her son Randy (Patricia) Hoeksema of Taber, two granddaughters and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Klass (Ineke) Dekens of Simcoe, Ontario.
Laura was predeceased by her husband Hedde Hoeksema, daughter Maya Thornton, granddaughter Dava-Lynne McNeil, grandson Jason Hoeksema as well as by her parents and numerous other relatives.
