1924 - 2014

Helen Florence Carlson, beloved wife of Harry Carlson, passed away in Taber on Monday, October 6, 2014 at the age of 90 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, October 9, 2014 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. A private burial service was held at Taber Memorial Garden on Friday, October 10, 2014.
Besides her loving husband Harry, Helen is survived by her eight children Lyle Buckley of Taber, Dexter Buckley of Taber, Twila (John) Wiebe of Creston, British Columbia, Don (Cindy) Carlson of Taber, Dennis Carlson of Lethbridge, Tim Carlson (Susan Szigli) of Grassy Lake, Bonnie Carlson of Taber and Casey (Donna) Carlson of Lethbridge; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Helen was born on August 14, 1924 in the Hamlet of Travers to Angus and Mary Briggs, the youngest of eight children. She lived most of her life in Taber. Helen loved her family and enjoyed visiting. She will be dearly missed.
