GEORGE NAKATSURU

1922 - 2014

George Hitoshi Nakatsuru, beloved husband of the late Mie Nakatsuru, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the age of 91 years.
The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Yasuo Izumi officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
George is survived by his son Shaun Nakatsuru (Emma Rhodes) of Toronto and daughter-in-law Sue Nakatsuru of Lethbridge; grandchildren Victor, Harrison, Miya, Michael and Kate; brother Roy (Minnie) Nakatsuru as well as seven nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Mie Nakatsuru and son Ken Nakatsuru.
George was born on the West Coast, but settled in the Bow Island area with his family where he was a successful farmer. He will be dearly missed.
