GREG HAYNES
1961 - 2014
Gregory Ronald Haynes, beloved father of Lee, Jared and Tylin, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully in Taber on Friday, September 12, 2014, two days prior to his fifty third birthday.
The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Scott Olsen conducting. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Greg will be sadly missed and forever loved by his children Lee, Jared and Tylin Haynes; grandchildren Caiden, Conner and Tori Haynes who were the light of his life; mother Linda Haynes; siblings Tammy Haynes and Ryan (Melanie) Haynes all of Taber; nieces Calista and Cheyenne; nephew Carson, grandfather Mel Ronspies and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Ronald Haynes; grandparents Fred and Iona Turner and Edna Ronspies.
Greg was born on September 14, 1961 in Taber to Ronald and Linda (nee Turner) Haynes. After high school he joined the family business and over the years worked with his dad and brother at Trico Oilfield Construction and Triple H. Cattle Company. He was also a business partner in Pedro’s Tank Truck Service, later known as Crude Group. More recently he became involved in the car wash business in West Lethbridge with his brother Ryan.
Greg was an avid golfer and thoroughly enjoyed the game and all his golf buddies. As a young boy he started playing hockey and his love of the sport led to coaching. He was a Boston Bruins fan forever.
