She was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty four years, Melvin, parents William and Barbara Fredericks, three sisters and four brothers.
Meta was born in Hilda, Alberta on September 26, 1912. When she came to Vauxhall as a young lady to work, she met Melvin Johnson and they were married on September 15, 1936. They farmed north of Vauxhall for forty years before moving to Lethbridge. However, they still enjoyed much time on the farm helping wherever they could.
She had invited Jesus into her life as a teen, served her Lord and Savior all her life, and is now more alive than ever in His presence in heaven, something she had been looking forward to especially this past year.
Meta loved life and enjoyed people. She especially enjoyed family gatherings. Meta was such a loving, patient, caring person. She also loved cooking, sewing and participating in various sports throughout her lifetime some being tennis, baseball, rollerskating and even sea-dooing at the age of ninety eight.
Mom we will truly miss you, and we know we will meet you again in Heaven.
