BUD PETERSON

1916 - 2014

Roy “Bud” Peterson of Nanton (formerly of Calgary and originally the Scandia/Vauxhall area), beloved husband of the late Helen Peterson, passed away in High River on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the age of 97 years.
The Burial Service was held at the Vauxhall Cemetery on Friday, January 31, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.
Bud is survived by his brother Lloyd (Agnes) Peterson of Calgary and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife Helen Peterson, his parents Elise (nee Westwong) and Olaf Peterson, brother Orville Peterson, sister Chestine Lowen, sister-in-law Mabel Peterson and brothers-in-law Bert Tonge and Jake Lowen.
Bud was born in Vauxhall on May 1, 1916. He served with the Army overseas as a mechanic. Bud married Helen Cowie of England and they resided in Calgary for many years.
