He is also survived by his grandmothers Gene Duce of Cardston, Alice Haynes of Taber and by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan was born in Taber on October 28, 1980. He was the third child born to Garth and Barbara Jensen. He spent the first five and a half years of his life in Taber. Ryan attended kindergarten at Dr. Hamman Elementary School for almost a full year before the family of five moved to Milk River. In August of 1986, the Jensens moved to Bow Island where he completed grade one. Another move in September of 1987 brought Ryan and his family to Stirling. Grade two in Stirling with Mrs. Hogenson as his teacher was a highlight in his life. Mrs. Hogenson helped set the stage for his lifelong quest for knowledge. Many teachers at the Stirling school helped with his education and he graduated grade twelve in 1998.
Ryan worked at the Prince of Wales Hotel in Waterton for a summer before he moved to Edmonton. He spent a year in Edmonton before serving a two year mission in Chicago, Illinois with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Upon his release, he returned to Stirling for a short while and then headed back to Edmonton where he has resided since, where he was employed with Shaw Communications.
Ryan loved music and was knowledgeable in all genres. His music, kindness, mischievous sense of humour and love of all people, endeared him to many. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Ryan’s name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4K7 (www.heartandstroke.ab.ca).
