AL WOJTOWICZ

1960 - 2013

Allan Blake Wojtowicz, much loved by family and friends, passed away unexpectedly in Taber on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the age of 53 years.
The Funeral Service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. with Reverend Daniel Peters officiating.
Al is survived by special friend Anne Reimer of Taber; his brothers Robert Wojtowicz of Brooks, Calvin (Sharon) Wojtowicz of Lethbridge, Bradley Chiste (Taunya) of Lethbridge and his sister Terri Lynn (Dale) Gay of Edmonton and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Joan Chiste, father Adam Wojtowicz and companion Kate Jansen.
Al was born in Lethbridge on April 14, 1960. He was known by so many people as a man with a golden heart, who would give whatever he had to help someone in need. His relationship with family and friends was what he treasured most in this world. Al was blessed with many friends who would look after him with kind attention and good meals. He enjoyed songs with deep meaning, dogs, trains and sharing a beer with his beloved friends. For the past seventeen years, he had been working for Lucerne Foods. He will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him.
