Bradley James Tolsma, beloved son of Reynold and Grace Tolsma of Taber, passed away in Calgary on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at the age of 24 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, August 12, 2013 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
A private family burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden prior to the funeral service.
The Funeral Service was held at the First Christian Reformed Church, 3902 Heritage Drive, Taber on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2:30 P.M. with Pastor Jim Zondervan officiating.
Besides his loving parents Reynold and Grace, Bradley is survived by his brother Jeremy Tolsma (Lena Krahn) of Coaldale, sister Lisa Tolsma (R.J. McDougall) of Lethbridge and by nieces Chloe, Ciara, Addison and nephew Samuel. He is also survived by his grandpa Sid Wildeboer of Edmonton and aunts and uncles Margaret and Rients Mazereeuw, Tilly Tolsma, Wilfred and Colleen Tolsma, Henry and Tina Tolsma, Edward and Donna Tolsma, Patricia and Ralph Hummel, Ken and Sorayda Wildeboer, Randy and Cathy Wildeboer, Sylvia and Henk Van Waas, Bradley Wildeboer, Mildred and Rick Buwalda and John and Anne-Marie Stroeve; his cousins and their families Michael, Cheryl, Dwayne, Loren, James, Dennis, Kathy, Karen, Kevin, Jason, Jennifer, Janice, Julie, Brian, Shelley, Janet, David, Kyle, Jessica, Christopher, Kimberly, Ashley, Andrew, Aaron, Britannie, Serena, Miranda, Arianna, Candace, Eljah and Courtney. He will also be fondly remembered by many special friends, especially Megan L., Andy M., Nathan M., Dave C., Samantha K. and Hendrick.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Frida Wildeboer and Frank and Shirley Tolsma.
Bradley was born in Taber October 11, 1988 and resided with his family in Vauxhall until 1997 when the family moved to Taber. He attended Taber Christian School until grade nine and then attended W.R. Myers High School, graduating in 2007. In 2010, Bradley moved to Calgary and started his education to become a journeyman plumber. In 2012 he purchased a home of which he was extremely proud and has been renovating it along with the help of his mom and dad.
Bradley was a proud Godfather to Tristen, Shyloh and Mavrick and a proud Uncle to Alexis. He was a good listener and was always there when his friends needed to talk. At times he could be quite humorous. Bradley will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and many friends.
