Joe was born in Taber on August 21, 1930. He started farming at a young age and continued to do so, until he became involved with cattle in later years. Buying and selling for Balog Auction then became his passion which he continued to do until his health prevented him. Joe went through a multitude of challenges with courage, pain and silent dignity. When told that he sacrificed time with his family for what he loved doing most, taking care of farming, cattle and helping others; a family member then said, doesn’t that mean he’s a good man.
Yes that “Magic” was a good man.
