1921 - 2013

Eleanor Lavina Baker, beloved wife of the late Francis Baker, passed away peacefully in Taber on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the age of 92 years.
The Funeral Service was held at Mountain View Funeral Home, 17 Avenue SE at Garden Road, Calgary on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. Burial followed at Rocky View Garden of Peace Cemetery, Calgary.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter Cheryl Lyons of Okotoks and her son Rodney (Wendy) Baker of Taber; thirteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Olga Block of Lethbridge and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Francis Baker in 1989, son-in-law David Lyons in 2012 and two brothers Louis Block and Lawrence Block.
Eleanor lived a very active and fulfilling life. She had a great love for her family and enjoyed many opportunities to be of service to them.
