Cam will also be fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Lenard Holman whom he has now been reunited with in Heaven.
Cam was born in Mayerthorpe on March 11, 1964, the oldest of four children born to Joyce (nee Crawford) and Lenard Holman. The family moved to Taber in 1967 where he has remained until his passing. He received his schooling at Central School and W.R. Myers High School. Throughout his life he worked at a number of different fields including autobody and as a rig hand for several construction companies. Cam loved to golf and he enjoyed playing a few hands of poker now and then. He was passionate about the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Steelers and took every opportunity to watch their games and cheer them on.
Cam was blessed with the gift of music. At a very young age he discovered banging on his mom’s pots, pans and ice cream buckets sounded amazing. As a result of this loud, rythmatic sound, he was lead to play drums in the school band. He eventually joined a couple of local bands and just enjoyed getting together and jamming with friends. He had a very artistic side and hand drew many types of pictures, mostly of his love for antique cars. Cam loved his family and friends dearly. People will remember him as a very warm, kind, fun loving person who had a heart of gold. He will be sadly missed but his quiet beautiful spirit will live in us forever.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Cam’s name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, Box 2211, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4K7 or to the Taber Food Bank, 5512 - 48 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1S4.
