After high school, Kim attended the University of Lethbridge, graduating with a Bachelor of Management in Finance degree in 1993. Following graduation, Kim gained employment with the TD Bank and transferred to Oyen where she met the love of her life, Rob Harkness. They were married June 30, 1995 and started their family. In August of 1999 they moved to Taber where Kim has resided until the time of her passing.
Kim’s greatest enjoyment in life was her boys and she was very involved with all their interests, including hockey, soccer and beavers. She also enjoyed scrapbooking in her spare time. Kim was most happy when planning events for her family, whether it be birthdays or weddings, she made sure every detail was taken care of and everything was perfect. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and many friends.
