KATIE DRACH

1914 - 2005

Mrs. Katharina "Katie" Drach of Taber, beloved wife of the late Mr. Karl Drach, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 at the age of 90 years.
Katie is survived by her son Frank (Verna) Drach of Taber and their children Len (Maria) Drach, Janet (Shane) Tymchyna and Ron (Tracey) Drach; her son Wendel Drach of Taber, his children John (Sandy) Drach, Carol (Pete) Thiessen and their mother Katie Drach; her great grandchildren Sharlynn & Derek Tymchyna, Danielle & Natasha Drach, Eric, Corey & Zachary Theissen and Amber, Kylee, Lyndon, Katherine, Francis, John Paul & Dominic Drach. She is also survived by her brother Stefan (Evalina) Gross of Germany and by nieces and nephews in Germany.
She was predeceased by her husband Karl Drach in 1969, her brother George Gross and by her sister Anna Pedli.
Katie was born December 15, 1914 in Parabuc, Yugoslavia. She was a caring, giving and independent woman. She loved to garden, cook and tend to her flowers. Katie's greatest joy in life were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren by whom she will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
