NORMAN HALL
1922 - 2000
Norman James Hall, beloved husband of Ana Hall of Taber, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2000 at the age of 78 years.
Norman was born at Burdett on January 24, 1922 and was the son of David and Elsie hall. He served with the Royal Canadian Army from 1940 to 1945 in Europe. Norman returned from the war and farmed in the Fincastle area. He was an active member and served in many positions of both the Royal Canadian Legion and The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints.
Norman will be forever missed by his loving wife Ana and his children Gloria (Bob) Vincent and Gloria’s mother Joan Oddy, Kyle Hall, Lori (Frank) Angyal, Lyle (Geri) Hall, Norman Lon (Yoker) Hall, Leda (Don) Jensen and Esther (Kevin) Wolsey; nineteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; sisters Merle Birch, Bernice Haynes and Beth Hall.
He was predeceased by sisters Mary, Alice and Jessie; brothers Elmer, Reid, Leo, Al, Dallas, Wallace and Clifford; grandson Joshua Hall and wife Elsie.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 4, 2000 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and also at the church prior to the service from 9:00 A.M. to 9:45 A.M.
The Funeral Service was held at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, August 5, 2000 at 10:00 A.M. with Councilor Mark Baldry conducting. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
