LILLIAN GORUK

1920 - 2000

Lillian Mae Goruk, beloved wife of John Goruk of Taber, passed away surrounded by her husband and children on Monday, July 24, 2000 at the age of 79 years.
Lillian is survived by her loving husband John of fifty seven years and their children Marilyn (Corrido), Donna (Lee) Turnbull, Ron (Judy), Gordon (Pat) and Shari (Bill) Brezovski. She was the proud grandmother of Sheila (Peter) Greunhage, Michael and Brad Goruk, Kurtis and Leanne Brezovski and great grandmother to Brody Turnbull and Austin Gruenhage. Lillian is also survived by her sister Dorothy Santoni, sister-in-law Mary Baroldi, brother-in-law Jack (Frances) Goruk and granddaughter-in-law Jacquie Kuss.
She was predeceased by her grandson Troy Turnbull and brothers Alfie and Roy Baroldi.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, July 27, 2000 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, July 28, 2000 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Yvonne Mills officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
