MOLLY ANDERSON
1914 - 2000
Hester Mary (Molly) Anderson of Taber passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2000 at the age of 86 years.
Molly was the second daughter of Robert and Marion Anderson and was born in Taber on May 1, 1914. Molly attended Central School in Taber and following graduation she attended the University of Alberta. She later worked in a Brokers office in Coutts for several years, as well as in a retail clothing business at the Banff Springs Hotel. Molly was also one of the first passenger agents for TransCanada Airlines at Kenyon Field in Lethbridge. She later returned to Taber to work with her father in the family business, Anderson’s Clothing. Molly was a lifelong member of the Knox United Church, CGIT’s and Church Choir. Molly was a gracious caregiver to many friends and family. Music was a life long love of Molly’s and she was very fond of nature. She will always be remembered as a very friendly, loving and thoughtful person.
Molly is survived by her sisters Marion Kemper of Taber, Barbara (Ray) Hudgens of San Angelo, Texas and Ann Anderson of Taber and also by numerous cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, brother Robert, sister Bette and brother-in-law Roy Kemper.
The Funeral Service was held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, June 27 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Crassweller officiating. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
