JACK BRAUN

1934 - 2001

Jack (Jake) Gordon Braun of Taber, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at the age of 67 years.
He will be forever remembered by his brothers and sisters, Peter Braun, Kay (John) Ens, Ann (Bill) Ivan, Margaret Tiberio, Maria (Wayne) Migneault, Henry (Karen) Braun and Erna Braun as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jake is also survived by his close personal friends, Kendall (Christina) Beler, Kirk (Janice) Beler, Kevin (Shirley) Beler, Kim Sorri and Darlene (David) Beler. He was predeceased by his parents Abram and Katarina Braun and a brother Abe Braun.
Jake will be remembered for his great love of children and generosity to same. Jake became the adopted uncle to the Sorri/Beler children and showed great kindness to them. For this he will always be remembered and they will be forever grateful. Jake enjoyed the outdoors and fondly remembered his camping trips to “Bear Country”. He loved a good laugh and took great pleasure in the simple things that life had to offer. Jake’s hobbies included tinkering with new inventions and restoring/rebuilding mechanical devices of any description. He enjoyed classical music and was always there to help out a stray animal.
The Funeral Service was held at the Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, December 8, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating.
