KONRAD DRUMM
1914 - 2001
Konrad Drumm of Taber, beloved husband of Elisabeth Drumm, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 31, 2001 at the age of 87 years.
Konrad was born in what is now called Serbia on April 1, 1914. On July 5, 1936 he married Elisabeth Schweitzer and they had three children. The family immigrated to Alberta, Canada in 1954. In 1959 they started farming in Vauxhall and resided there until their retirement in 1979. Since then they have resided in Taber.
Besides his wife Elisabeth he will be sadly missed by his family of three children Magdalena Drumm, Konrad Drumm and Elisabeth Fast; two grandsons William and Tyson Fast. He is also survived by a sister Johanna Staufenberger and three nephews in Germany. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Dr. Hans Fast; a brother; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, September 4, 2001 from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service was held at Peace Lutheran Church, 4619 - 56 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Carl Bogda officiating. Burial followed in the Taber Memorial Garden.
