PAT HARDING

1934 - 2012

Patricia Jean Harding, beloved wife of Don Harding, passed away peacefully in Taber after her courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at the age of 77 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church prior to the funeral service on Thursday, June 21, 2012 between 1:00 P.M. and 1:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Chris Ward conducting. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides her loving husband Don, Pat is survived by their six children Terry (Twylla) Harding of Calgary, Phillip (Renee) Harding of Airdrie, Linda (Dale) Nesting of Coaldale, Debbie (Steve) Hill of Pocatello, Idaho, Barbara Harding (Stan Hatch) of Calgary and Michelle (Darrell) Vedres of Lethbridge; nineteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Catherine (Larry) Henry, sister-in-law Ruth-Anne Johnson and by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Lavone and Ellen Johnson, brother Bruce Johnson and granddaughter Viki Johnson.
Pat was born in Taber on October 13, 1934 to Lavone and Ellen Johnson. She was the second oldest of three children raised in Barnwell. After graduating high school in Taber, she married her sweetheart Don Harding on March 12, 1953. While raising their six children, Pat worked along side Don, while doing what she loved most - flowers. She owned and operated Pat’s Flowers for thirty eight years. She loved her church, her family and her friends.
