Lee Hubertus Christopher Carlin Tuveson passed away in Taber on Monday, June 11, 2012 at the age of 34 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, June 15, 2012 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Taber Civic Centre, 4720 - 50 Street, Taber on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Lee will be lovingly remembered by his mom Alice Harty of Taber and his dad Andy (Mary Cohen) Tuveson of Lethbridge; sisters Laree (Scott) Fordyce of Okotoks, Nikki (Todd) Schlaht of Okotoks and Lani (Clem) Tuveson-Tritz of Calgary; aunts Doreen (Larry) Berard, Kathy (Lyle) Lust, Mary Ann (Woody) Woodward, Ann (Manfred) Kirsten, Dorothy (Gino) Crema, Ingrid (Bill) Notter, Sonya (John) Westerhof; uncles John Van Kasteren, Peter Van Kasteren, Adrian Van Kasteren, Sergio (Judy) Carlin, Luch (Cheryl) Carlin and Sil (Shauneen) Carlin. He is also survived by his cousins Simon Fettig, Jade-An Lust, Gavin Lust, Justin Fletcher, Kimberley Fletcher, Lindsay Fletcher, Angela Van Kasteren, Kevin Van Kasteren, Jason Van Kasteren, Joshua Van Kasteren, Aaron Van Kasteren, Cory Carlin, Kimberley Carlin, Paul (Shannon) Carlin, James (Kat) Carlin, Anna Marie (Don) Janzan; nieces Rachel Fordyce, Katelyn Fordyce, Aysa Tuveson-Tritz, Natalia Schlaht and nephew Benjamin Schlaht.
He was predeceased by his father Julian Carlin Jr.; grandparents Julian Sr. and Anna Carlin and Hubert and Ann Van Kasteren; aunt Yolanda Bernardi and uncle Fausto Bernardi.
Lee was born at the Taber Hospital on November 13, 1977 to parents Julian Jr. and Alice Carlin. He attended St. Mary’s High School in Taber, Chamberlain School in Grassy Lake and graduated from ACE Place School in Taber. During his school years, Lee enjoyed playing basketball, soccer and tennis. Lee obtained his journeyman plumber and gasfitter certification and thoroughly enjoyed his work at Taber Temp Plumbing & Heating. He participated and enjoyed many sports and activities including waterskiing, tennis, basketball, baseball, bowling, camping and snow skiing. Lee and his dog Lucy were constant companions and enjoyed many hikes and runs through the coulees. His extended family and countless friends valued and appreciated his friendship and companionship and his constant positive attitude and humour. Lee’s pleasant and outgoing personality will be missed by all.
