KENT JENSEN

1952 - 2012

Walter Kent Jensen, beloved husband of Allison Jensen of Lethbridge, passed away unexpectedly at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at the young age of 59 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church prior to the funeral service on Saturday, June 2, 2012 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 54th Street Chapel, 5314 - 54 Street, Taber on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Elder Bob Bender conducting. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides Allison his loving wife of seventeen years, he is survived by his loving children Dana Jensen of Lethbridge and Shandra (Matt) Jensen of Lethbridge and their children Colton, Dylan and Bryson Reaney; godson Kashtin Wolsey of Lethbridge. Kent is also survived by his mother Connie (Earl) Grigor; brothers and sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his loving father Walter Jensen; sister Carma Jensen; brothers Joel and Noel Jensen.
Kent was born in Taber on September 1, 1952 and grew up on the family farm in Fincastle. He started his career in the oil patch for many years and loved getting dirty. He loved gardening, fishing and playing with his grandsons and godson. Kent was the best husband, father, friend and grandfather there ever was. He also loved his animals very dearly. Kent will be sadly missed by Gizmo, Sammy, Tinker and Shelby. He will be greatly missed by family, friends and very special friend Kim Johns. Kim and Kent worked together and did a lot more fishing then work.
