1924 - 2012

James Hilary Cradduck, beloved husband of the late Marion Cradduck, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, April 6, 2012 at the age of 88 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Vincent TuanHa Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
James is survived by his son Dennis (Brandy-Kim) of Medicine Hat and their children Ethan and Lily-Jean; his daughter Val (Ron) Lambert of Lethbridge and their children Cynthia and Robert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends in Canada and the United States.
He was predeceased by his wife Marion Cradduck, brother Francis Craddock, infant sister Mary Olive Cradduck and his parents Honoria and Wesley Cradduck.
James was born in Lethbridge and raised in the Purple Springs/Taber area, where he farmed and raised cattle for many years with his brother Francis. On July 6, 1963 James married the love of his life Marion Margaret Murray of Warner. They were blessed with two children, Dennis in 1966 and Valerie in 1968.
James devoted his entire life to his family, always providing love and support to all. He was a true gentleman who was always kind, gentle and loving. He was a great friend, mentor, role model and story teller.
