ANNE ALLEN

1916 - 2012

It is with great sorrow that we say goodby to our mom, grandmother, great grandmother and sister Anne Mae Allen (nee Powell), beloved wife of the late Bill Allen, who passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Friday, March 2, 2012 at the age of 95 years.
A private family service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 9, 2012 with Reverend Wil Stonehill officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Anne leaves to mourn, her children George (Lynn) Allen and children Bill (Naomi) Allen, Blair (Betty Ann) Allen and Sally (Mario) Dastoli; Bob (Rita) Allen and children Susan (Ian) Turner, Mark (Robbie) Allen, Jay (Shanda) Allen and Janice (Craig) Braden; Barbara (Forrest) Christensen and children April Christensen (Bobby Jensen), Wendy (Richard) Westren and Gregg (Ruby) Christensen. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; sister Helen Peterson; sisters-in-law Carol Korsa, Mary Korsa and Jeanette Powell; brother-in-law Ted Allen Sr. and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband George “Bill” Allen; parents John and Jane Powell; step father Nick Korsa; brothers George (Margaret) Powell, Bill (Mary) Powell, Mike Powell, Alex (Olga) Powell, George Korsa and Johnny Korsa; sister Mary (Wilford) Peterson and brother-in-law Leo Peterson.
Anne was born in Taber May 11, 1916 to John and Jane Powell.
