BOB DREW

1944-2009

Robert Phillip Drew passed away in Raymond on Thursday, July 9, 2009 at the age of 64 years.
 Bobby is survived by his brother Bill (Patricia) Drew of Vauxhall, his niece Rosemarie (Mike) Wiggill and his nephews, Rob (Susan) Anhorn, Bill (Tammy) Anhorn, Tom Drew and Raymond Drew. He is also survived by his cousins, Arlene (Bill) Parkinson, Bernie Persson and Lenard Persson.
 He was predeceased by his father Sydney Drew in 1952 and by his mother Isabel Drew in 2005.
 Bobby was born in Taber on November 30, 1944. The Drew’s lived in Vauxhall and he attended the Vauxhall Elementary School in his younger years. He loved helping out on the farm and training horses. When Bobby was eighteen, he was diagnosed with schizophrenia and he spent time for treatment in Ponoka and several group homes. He later returned to his love of horses and to help out on the farm at Vauxhall, where he remained until January 2009.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with The Reverend Wil Stonehill of St. Theodore’s Anglican Church in Taber, officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
