1956 - 2012

Bonnie Laureen Marose, beloved wife of Darrel Marose, passed away in Taber on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the age of 55 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, January 23, 2012 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Sandra Riddell officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Besides her loving husband Darrel, she is survived by her son Scott (Dallas) Marose of Lethbridge and their children Austin and Hailey; daughter Kerri Marose (Kent) of Taber; parents Alvin & Gladys Scramstad of Barnwell; siblings Cheryl (John) Peleskey of Taber and their children Jordan (Michelle) Biegler, Jarred (Annie) Peleskey and Landon (Stacey) Peleskey and family; Denise (Kevin) Keenan of Brooks and their children Travis (Katelyn) Keenan and family and Brennan Keenan; Lorrie Lynn (Don) Bowman of Lethbridge and their children Michael (Chantal) Bowman and Kyla Bowman. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Dora Marose of Taber; brother-in-law Marvin (Kim) Marose of Taber and their children Coralee (Keith) Lubbers and family and Chad Marose; sister-in-law Norma (Delace) Rombough of High River and their daughter Charlane (Scott) McDougall and family.
She was predeceased by her father-in-law Douglas Marose and nephew Craig Rombough.
Bonnie was born on February 9, 1956 in Virden, Manitoba to Alvin and Gladys Scramstad. The family moved to Barnwell in 1965. Bonnie had many fond memories of growing up in Barnwell with her three sisters. In 1977 Bonnie married Darrel Marose and together they had two children, Scott and Kerri. They moved to a farm southeast of Taber where they farmed and raised their family. Bonnie worked for nineteen years as an office manager for Chin Ridge Seeds. She enjoyed vacationing, camping with family and friends, spending time with her grandchildren and the companionship of many wonderful friends through her bible study. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
